The complex procedure was led by Dr. John Aldrin De Guzman (Vascular and Thoracic Surgeon) with a dedicated multidisciplinary team including anesthesiologist Dr. Manuel Khristopher Torres, pediatric intensivist, Dr. Mary Joy Torres, and specialized nursing staff. The surgery was a complete success, with the patient showing rapid improvement in breathing and overall health, demonstrating NEMC's growing capabilities in high-risk pediatric procedures and commitment to delivering hope and healing for vulnerable patients.

At 72 years old, Nanay Luzviminda Pacatan from San Ildefonso, Bulacan, had resigned herself to darkness after years battling chronic eye disease. Her life transformed when she found hope at Nueva Ecija Eye Specialist under Dr. Michael Greg Gonzales' care. Despite the severity of her condition, Dr. Gonzales offered life-changing words: "There's a high chance you can see again."
