Nueva Ecija Medical Center (NEMC) proudly announces the successful completion of its first-ever Pediatric Lobectomy Surgery, a groundbreaking milestone that reflects the hospital’s growing capabilities in complex, high-risk procedures for children.

The patient a young child suffering from a serious congenital lung condition underwent a delicate lobectomy procedure to remove a damaged portion of the lung. With the possibility of long-term breathing difficulties and infections looming, the surgery became essential not just for comfort, but for survival and improved quality of life.
