The procedure was performed on a 59-year-old patient suffering from advanced heart failure, marking the first successful ICD implantation at NEMC. This achievement demonstrates the hospital’s commitment to bringing advanced, life-saving cardiac interventions closer to the people of Nueva Ecija and nearby provinces.
