Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications accurately.
- Maintain proper storage, organization, and cleanliness of pharmacy supplies and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels, expiration dates, and report shortages or near-expiry items.
- Receive, check, and arrange pharmaceutical deliveries.
- Assist patients and hospital staff with basic inquiries while observing confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensing, inventory, and requisitions.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any healthcare-related course or Pharmacy Assistant training preferred.
- With experience; willing to undergo training.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Computer literate and able to maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work shifting schedules in a hospital environment.
